As I lay down on my comfy bed, I close my eyes and a wonderful dream starts to appear in my head. I own a pig farm with pigs ranging from all different ages and sizes. I rescue them from all over the world. I can just see the pigs riding first class, happy to be together. Some staying together in their seats to talk to each other. Others are running around the big round space in the middle usually playing tag. I wait anxiously at my huge farm with fields as far as the eye can see. Their stalls are heated when the pigs get cold, until they warm up, and they cool down until the pigs cool off. They also have blankets. A heated blanket and a fan are also in the stalls. The pigs have a bed and a television in their stalls. In the house there’s a giant couch that unfolds into a bed and a giant flat screen television. All the televisions come with cable so the pigs can watch their favorite show, "Green Acres"!
My house has three stories, two for the pigs and one for me. Each story has four rooms. My house is like one big rectangle. Next to the room with the couch and television, there’s a kitchen. The pigs can walk into the room, over to the refrigerator, and say what they want into a speaker. The fridge then opens from the side. If the pigs want something that needs to be cooked, the fridge puts the food in either the microwave or the stove. When the food finishes on the stove or microwave, the appliances give the food to the pigs. If they want something like cereal, a cabinet opens and mixes all the ingredients and gives it to them. There is a big dining room table in the top left hand corner of the room. It has chairs surrounding it so the pigs can all eat together. The bottom left hand corner of the room is dark with obstacles so the pigs and I can play hide and seek. The kitchen has a staircase that leads to a room for the little piglets. The nursery is full of little piglets and their mothers, playing together. Their favorite game is jump rope and their favorite jump rope game is double dutch. It just warms my heart to see all of their smiling faces. My room is above it. It has a big bed, couch, bookcase, and flat screen television.
The last thing about my pig farm is the big fields. In one field, there is a pig swing, teeter-totter, mud pit, and pool. There is also a big box full of bouncy balls and equipment for all kinds sports. One field has an obstacle course so the pigs can race each other. Another field is plain and used for running around. The last field is used for sports like soccer, baseball, softball, outdoor basketball, muddy beach volleyball and tennis. When my pigs arrive, they step right onto the nice muddy ground and see the big words on the house that say "Welcome!" I rush over to them right away and hug them and greet them. I show them all around the house and around each stable. The stables are labeled A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O, and P (P is theirs). I show them their stalls and I show them how to work everything. I let them roam free and get to know everybody.
I have a patrol horse, dog, cat, cow, goat, and sheep that make sure the pigs go to bed on time during the school year. My patrollers names are Fred (the horse), Sheila (the dog), Johnny (the cat), Carrie (the cow), George (the goat), and Mikayla (the sheep). My patrollers patrol the whole farm at night for exactly three hours on school nights and make sure that every pig is asleep. During the day the pigs and my patrollers play unless it’s a school day. In the morning, all of the pigs old enough to go to school get up and get ready to go. They walk across the street to school. School lasts four hours. The pigs then come home for lunch about 11:00am. They then go back to school for one more hour. School is optional and it lasts two full weeks each month for two months. They are done with school once they complete the two months. The pigs learn to correctly say words and learn their letters of the alphabet.
At about 7:00pm, I call all of my pigs in for dinner with my mega-phone. When everyone is in the house, we all get our food and gather around the dining table, sit down, make a toast to all the new pigs, and start talking. We talk and eat for over an hour. The new pigs feel like part of our big family. All the pigs put on sleepover jammies and we have a giant sleepover on the giant couch. We turn on the giant flat screen television to "Green Acres" and watch the show for three hours until we all fall asleep. Just then, I wake up to a loud buzzing noise. I’m mad that my perfect dream is over. I close my eyes and try to bring back the dream but the harder I try to dream it again, the more it fades away and becomes less and less realistic. I finally open my eyes and manage to get up and get ready for school. As I walk into the building, a huge smile lights up my face as I think about my dream, that wonderful dream, that I hope someday will come true.
