Zoe’s owner was given two days notice to get rid of her pig, so she brought her to Belly Draggers with promises to visit and pay for her care. Zoe’s owner only returned once for a visit, and so Zoe fell into a deep depression. She is a very sensitive pig and mourned the loss of her former owner for a month. She gradually came out of it with lots of belly rubs and treats. Presently, she is one of the sweetest pigs we have ever had. She is quiet most of the day, and then comes out in the evening to have special time with Eva, getting brushed and loved. She sleeps with her boyfriend Floyd.

We lost Zoe to an ovarian tumor. Dr. Meyers came out and put her to sleep. We loved Zoe very much and miss her terribly.

This little girl is eight months old and just too cute for words! She drops for a belly rub at a touch and gives the nicest pig kisses. She follows us around like a puppy when she is out in the evening. She was actually dumped at the shelter twice and we want to make sure she doesn't get dumped again. We are currently looking for a good home for her and have several interested families.

Zoe was adopted by Monica and her family up north and is now with Ike, who was adopted in 2005. She has a wonderful new home and gets lots of attention now.
